1st time visitor to US/IOA--have question

Hey everyone,

We leave next weekend for our 1st trip to US/IOA. We've been to Disney & Sea World many times, but never Universal. This is our daughter's graduation trip that she chose, so off we go!

I have been reading these boards for months now and I have been able to plan most of our time out with your wonderful posts! I do have a question and it's a little unique, but I'm hoping I can word it correctly so you guys will be able to understand what I'm asking.

So, I won't be riding any coasters or anything, but I do want to see as much of the HP world as possible.
Am I able to walk through everything to view and take pictures without having to get in a line for a ride?

Yep! I'm a ride baby myself and I was able to walk through the rides with my family and then duck out the "chicken door" before they got on. They tell you where to wait and you meet up with them as soon as they get off.

You will have a grand time exploring potter areas without doing any of the rides there

Many things to see and you'll be able to watch the outdoor shows they have at each potter section
It is delightful entertainment!

Take pictures, explore the shops and your family that are doing the rides will have to be waiting for you instead of you waiting for them!
