1st time using DVC at BLT

Hey everyone! I am so excited that we just bookd our fist trip using our DVC membership. Last Oct. we finaly broke down and bought into DVC. We just stared to plan our trip for this Sept and we really want to stay at BLT. We we luckie enough to get a lake veiw and cant wait to be that close to the MK.

You are really really going to enjoy BLT and the walk to MK.

We're going to BLT for the first time too. I'm looking forward to not having to ride a bus or boat with a double stroller and all the extra luggage.

We purchased at BLT at the end of 2010. We LOVE IT !!! Love it.... love it !! We are working on going UNcommando. I really want to relax, and sit by the pool and just CHILL but...... I CAN'T. Too much fun stuff to do !!

We just did BLT in November and it was AWESOME! Being that close to MK and having the monorail at your disposal is priceless! We watched some movies outside AND got to see the fireworks. The kids loved watching the fireworks from the TOTW Lounge, too.

We had a 2BR lockoff and it was nice. We were on the ground floor which was nice. The Contempo cafe was really good, too. Better than you would expect for the QS type meals.

You will LOVE it.

the skywalk in on the 5th floor BLT side - 4th floor CR side.

remember to always take your key (id) with you - although it is not quite as bad as it was. BLT still can be hard to get in w/o your key.

You will love BLT! This past trip I stayed at SSR which was beautiful, but I missed being so close to MK!

Going for our 2nd time this coming June.. We bought into BLT in 2010.

We can to wait to get back....remember you are part of the Contemprporary Resort. So, two pool areas....boat rentals....restaurants...arcade...TOWL....kids club...free video rentals....fireworks....etc....

And yes...a 5-10 minute walk to the Magic Kingdom....a boat ride to WL....monorail to Poly and GF......such a great location.

Congratulations!! We joined DVC last May and have a 1 bedroom lake view @ BLT for a week in Sep!! It'll be our first DVC stay and we'll be on our honeymoon!!

You will love it! We own DVC at BLT and enjoy the short walk to MK, taking the monorail to Poly & GF, the boat to FW.......There is so much to love!

BLT is my home base!! I have stayed there twice so far, both times Lake View. Absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend that if you like to be high up to call and request that they make a note on your reservation to stay on the 15th floor or highest available floor. It's a phenomenal view... Or if you want convenience request the 5th floor as that is the same floor as the bridge to the contemporary and you won't need to fuss with elevators. We just booked BLT for the third time for next January, this time we are getting theme park view. Can't wait!!
