This will be our first trip to Universal. Only there for 3 days
we are just doing a quick stop on our way to visit grandparents. Son is 12 and daughter is 9- none of us are thrill riders (except husband- but he doesn't want to ride alone- poor guy)
Anyway, I would love advise and any suggestions on itinerary so far.
-Arrive Monday night 5:00 HRH April 21
-Dinner @ Kitchen- hang at pool (parks close so early)
- Tuesday- (check out of HRH )Get to USF before opening (FOTL)
*Touring advise anyone? We will split up during day as daughter will not ride alot that son will.
-would like some time at pool to relax and then back to park for dinner or citywalk? (Think we can fit touring and break in- only there for 1 day?)
*Question: we are checking our of HRH that morning- we hope to still do a break at the pool - are there places to change and freshen up before dinner?)
-Tuesday night Head to Residence Inn Seaworld to check in.
-Wednesday- Seaworld day- Arrive early, husband & son ride Atlantis- daughter and I get in line to feed dolphins (Do you think boys will be able to ride and return to dolphin cove to feed with us?)
- Hope to do most of the shows - Dinner suggestions?
-Thursday- Check out go to Aquatica for the day- Late afternoon drive to in-laws for dinner (2.5 hour ride)

What do you think? Are we trying to fit to much in?
Can we see and do all (minus the extreme rides in all parks in one day with an afternoon break?
Appreciate any help you can offer :rotfl:

Are you going to Studios, Islands or both?
Even if you were doing just 1, I doubt you'll have time for a break, especially if doing Studios. The attractions in studios takes a lot of time to get through.
I wouldn't even try to have dinner in the park.

Personally, for your first visit, I feel like your not giving yourself enough time to enjoy Universal. I'm worried that you'd be disappointed because you'd feel rushed, trying to experience as much as you can in short time.

However, if your itinerary isn't flexible, my first advice is to get a Universal Studios park map/guide when checking into HRH. The guide will give you a layout of the park, the showtimes for performances and also times for character greets.

When at the park, use your room key for express pass. This will get you into the short line for rides and you will be allowed into theaters prior to the regular crowds for shows.

Although you say your not thrill seekers, try to do all of the rides too. The Universal rides are extremely fun. In my opinion, the only intense ride is Revenge of the Mummy, and I only say that because its an indoor rollercoaster. Still, it is a very fun ride that has scenery along the tracks and never loops upside down. If you decide not to ride it, please encourage your husband to use his express pass to ride it.

Have fun and let us know how your trip went!

Wow thats alot to try to cram in on 1 day but one if our past trips we tried the same thing and found out that we missed alot and so now we try to devote as much time as we can so we don't miss something or miss any of our favs and if all possible I would try 2 days but if you can't then just have fun with it and do as much as you can :thumbsup2

looking at your schedule I suggest dropping Aquatica. Stay at HRH both nights. Then on your last day drive over the Sea World before heading to the inlaws.
