was planning on going to the World for first family trip in October 2014, just after son's 8th birthday...however, just found out we're expecting 2nd child! *feeling blessed and praying for healthy pregnancy since trying for over year and a half* very early in pregnancy, projected due date of august 2014. therefore, thinking of pushing trip back a year...October 2015, son will be 9 and baby will be a little over 1. any and all suggestions and feedback would be great. my mom and stepdad are planning on joining dh and I. original plans had been to stay at pop century and stay for at least a week; visiting each park (mk twice) with a day for rest in between.

We took my dd as a baby and she was easier as a baby then older. Don't be afraid to take a baby. They eat and sleep, they can do that anywhere.

I agree that I think a baby would be easier than a one year old- definitely when it's your second baby- everything with the baby feels so much easier- in my experience anyways. Babies sleep most of the time anyways and most rides have "baby swaps" where you only wait in line once and each parent can take turns holding the baby while the other goes- your 8 year old would get to ride twice then!

Just a thought but you do what feels right!

I agree too. We took our 4 month old in Nov and it was much easier than when we took our daughter when she was19 months
