1st time to the Fort...

We leave Saturday for our first time to WDW with the kids and we're staying in a cabin. I have been reading this board for the past 6 mos.--that's how long we've been planning this trip, and I've gotten some great advice!

We have a 12 year old (boy) and 6 yr old twin girls so it's going to be a great time. They have no idea how excited they should be!!

We have rented a golf cart, but depending on our cabin location, crowds, etc, we'll see if we need it.

Our first night there, we're doing the Mickey's Backyard BBQ and we've also bought tickets for MNSSHP. The girls and I are going to breakfast one morning at the castle and they are going to be in heaven I'm sure!!

I just wanted to let you all know how much I've appreciated everyone's great advice. This is a once in a lifetime trip for us and we just can't wait!

First, CONGRATULATIONS You're going to the most Magical Place on Earth! I have no doubt that you will have some of your fondest family memories minted on this, your first trip to WDW with your family. I do want to check on thing though, you said:

I hope that this was just a run-on sentence, and that you are actually doing the MBYBBQ and MSNSSHP on different nights? Either that or I pray your family is made up of Arnold Schwartzenegger commandos and Energizer bunnies!

Wow, sounds like you've got a great trip planned. I'm sure this will be the first of many. Enjoy and remember to report back. Don't forget to take plenty of pictures to post in your trip report. Of course you're going to have to increase your post count before you can post pics so start posting now, you've got 2 days.
