We are going to be staying at Westgate Vacation Villas 5/23-5/30. We have never stayed in a time share condo before and we're not sure what to expect. I've read all of the posts here about WVV and we're ok with whatever we get. We've stayed in some pretty scary places before, so we're not too worried about the actual accommodations.

What we do need to know is what kinds of kitchen stuff will be there. For example, will there be a toaster and a coffeemaker? What about dishtowels and dishclothes? What kinds of dishes and pot/pans will there be?

Is this something I should email WVV about? Hopefully some of you very knowledgable and helpful people can give me some pointers.

Thanks!!

It really depends on the unit type you are staying in on your trip. We stayed there a couple of years back, we were in one of hte older sections but thought the place was very nice, more so since I paid $220 for the week through skyauction.

There will be enough place settings for the amount of people the room sleeps. There should be everything you need to get by, including a coffee maker and toaster. There was a full supply of pots, pans, and utensils in our unit.

Our unit was a one bedroom unit that sleeps 4 but there were only two of us. It had two full bathrooms, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub.

Depending on how you got your week, you may have to do the presentation. At that time, we had an exchange, and did the presentation, which we were not required to do. They were pretty high pressue. So, if your on an exchange and they ask if you want a free breakfast, don't feel like you have to go. They may try and give you some story that you need to go but if it's in exchange you are not required to attend the presentation.

i don't know about westgate vacation villas, but i LOVE timeshare stays in general. marriott's are always reliable in terms of great, consistent quality. and, prices these days are oftentimes less than a hotel room for a two-bedroom condo. plus, washer/dryer, multiple baths, beautiful grounds.

regardless of your first experience (i hope it's great), try again...skyacution, ebay, tug...great deals, great vacations.

Just wanted to back up what Jamieb said. We own at Westgate Villas and they have just about everything you need in the kitchen.

You should have a great time!!! We have never had a bad room or problem that wasn't quickly taken care of.

Have Fun!!:sunny:
