1st time sailing on the Magic, why the long lines at Cabanas?

I think the problem is there is not a lot of separation between pods on the Magic. It just looks like to curvy line thing. If there were say 5 feet between pods, folks might get the hint. But, there is just not the space for that on the Magic. The Dream and Fantasy are a bit better and they have pods on both sides of the walk thru isle.

We hit the buffets around 11-11:30 and there are not a lot of folks there. You kind of have to treat it like an attraction and get there when you think no one else is there yet. My recommended times are 11 - 11:45 or 12:45 - 2 (check your navigator for times). We can do the earlier lunch and then some fries or a piece of pizza, or both lol before our 5:45 dinner.

The hotdogs, hamburgers and pizza, salads, and sandwiches are not busy at all throughout the day. So, there are options. The DW likes that kind of food so I get my buffet food and we sit on the deck if nice.

Seems like it is the pancake/waffle station at the end of the "long line" that causes the back up. Something about picking which one to get and then applying the syrup slows it all down.

and parents fixing multiple plates! Kids shouldn't be allowed on ships if they can't fix their own plate! And yes, just kidding!!!!!!!!!!:dogdance::dogdance:

I think if people also paid attention to where the plate stacks are, it would help. It seems there are plate stacks at the beginning of many of the stations.

I was on that cruise too and thought the same thing every breakfast. We just grabbed our food as fast as we could and went and sat in the adult section away from the crowds.
