Hello everyone. After a few months of asking my boyfriend if we can go to disney he finally said YES!!!!! We are staying at POFQ April 24- May 1. I have never stayed at this resort before and would love to hear about it. I am really excited that it has just finished a rehab. These spontaneus trips are much better, less time to countdown. I am just really excited and had to share it with all of you.

Hi Kerry........
We stayed at POFQ last year and liked it very much. It was quiet and romantic. I would think it will be even better after the remodel! The pool and food court were great. The bus service was outstanding and it isn't far to get to a stop. We were origianally given a second story room facing the parking lot but were given a 1st floor room upon request (facing the pool area). The boat is an easy, relaxing way to get downtown for a night out.
I hope you have a great trip!! Enjoy!

I have been reading all the posts about the hotels and now I am worried we are going in November my kids are older 16, 19 21, with a 21 year old boyfriend joining us. we are not resort hotel people and since we dont go to WDW as often as we want[ which would basically to live in the park and never leave LOL] we decided on the POP Century resort we got a great rate. I reserved three rooms the kids wanted the play-doo rubics cube expereince my hubby doesnt care as long as he gets to go to disney. we cant afford a deluxe and I am not sure I would stay at one even if we could and my kids really dont spend any time at the hotel and would raher spend money on dinners and buying stuff, I guess what I am asking is staying at a value resort going to be a mistake. I know this is long but now I am slowly becoming spazzy. :bounce: :yo-yo: :Pinkbounc :earseek:

I know what you mean with not knowing if you are making the right choice. Last trip I had booked ASMo then after the codes came out I decided to upgrade to FQ. I was happy I did. I think you will be fine at PC since you are planning to be in the parks most of the time. We are the same way as far as staying in the parks from opening until closing.
A few differences are mods have slides in the pools and a hot tub. The grounds are a little nicer and relaxing. If it wasn't for such great rates for the FQ we would have stayed put at the all-stars and still had a great time. We aren't resort or hotel people either we are campers!
The only thing I was told that the all-stars are sometimes full of kids from school group and such and can be noisy. I guess what you need to do is look at your bugget and your wants and needs and go from there.
I would love to stay at a delux but can't see spending the extra money for a room and I'm with you don't know if I ever will feel differently.

This April we are staying at a Moderate POFQ but next year we will need two rooms so if there is no codes for the general public we will be staying at a value we stayed at a value last year only because it was are honeymoon and we went for 2 weeks we split the stay mostly disney but we also stayed on property at Universal RPR nice place for 125.00 a night. My stepson is going to be 14 so we decided on two rooms for next year. My mother and I are going this year we did get a discount on are room. Kelly
