When going from one park to another park how do the buses work? Do you get on "your" resort bus and have it bring you to the park you are hopping to? Or is there a bus stop for all resort guests that will bring you to a specific park?

We have been to WDW several times but since we weren't onsite I never paid attention to how the buses work. Thanks :)

There's a bus stop at each park for the other parks. :) It's in the same area as the resort bus stops, just check the signs.

If you are park hopping between Epcot and Magic kingdom use the monorail.
You will need to take the monorail from MK to TTC(ticket and transportation center) and then transfer to the Epcot monorail when you exit at the TTc the Epcot monorail is facing you as your exit the monorail.
but to all other parks you can use the buses for park hopping

At your resort, there will be one or more bus stops depending upon which onsite hotel you are staying at. (BW only has one but CBR has several.) Busses for all parks stop at each bus stop located at the resort. You can tell which bus is going where by the lighted sign in the front and side window of the bus. Some busses make more than one stop i.e. busses to DD also stop at TL in the daytime and at PI in the evening.

If you are leaving a theme park to go back to your hotel, go to the bus stop for your hotel. Signs are posted.

If you need to go from one resort hotel to another, you might need to take more than one bus or a bus and then the monorail.

Hope this helps!

it seemed like a silly question but I'd rather ask and "look" like I know what I am doing once I am there...lol

Just to clarify, the Epcot monorail will be facing you if you use the Express Monorail to get from MK to TTC. If you take the resort monorail, you must go down a ramp and up the Epcot ramp.
