First time cruising... What do we do first thing when we get onboard? I know that we have the late dining... do we have to make ressies for each restaurant? Where do you make them? What's the rotation?

Just us (no kids)... any and all help is needed .... thanks for time and help.

We need all the advice we can get!

You will have one of three different rotations...

<nl>
PTA - Parrot Cay the first night, Triton's the second night, Animator's Palate the third night,

TAP - Triton's, then Animator's, then Parrot Cay,

or APT - Animator's, Parrot, Triton's.</nl>

You won't know which rotation you will have until you check in, but you will find out at that time... no need for reservations. However, if you choose to spend one evening at Palo instead of, or in addition to, your regular restaurant, you will need to make a reservation for that as soon as you board.

And if you want to have a massage in a cabana at Castaway Cay or to have a Surial Bath (click here for more info about that), you'll need to make ressies for those treatments as soon as you board.

If you plan to book Disney-sponsored shore excursions for your day at Nassau rather than wander around by yourself, you can either book those by phone within sixty days of your sail date, or you can book those during the afternoon of boarding.

Howdy!!
You will not need to make any reservations unless you want to go to Palo, the "alternative" adults-only restaurant. I recommend it as it has its own galley and the food is restaurant-quality, but you may want to stick with experiencing the regular restaurants since it is your first time. We too have no children, and our dining rotation has always been Tritons/Animators/Parrot Cay for all 19 of our Disney cruises. Disney tries to seat adults with other adults whenever possible...we're only had kids at our table 3 or 4 times, and those were holidays when the kid population is much higher (those were actually fun experiences for us). Palo has a $5 per person cover charge, but it is WELL worth it. If you haven't seen the menus already, I have copies on my website at www.castawayclub.com

Thnaks for the great info!

Now, what must we see and do on this beautiful ship...besides Palos, what should we not miss?

If you are interested in using the spa at all.... go there first thing and make your appointments..... it fills up fast!

Do NOT miss the show Disney Dreams....... I loved this show and I can't wait to take my children to see it this fall.

Take advantage of the adults only pool area.... very laid back and relaxing.

Go to the Deck party the first night you leave port..... it was a lot of fun!!

Read your Navigator...... you will see the next days activities and know what you want to take part in!

Most importantly..... relax and have fun!! You are on vacation!
