My DH, DD, and myself are planning a trip in June 2003. We just went to WDW in Jan 2002 and had a great time. My DD will be seven years old by then. We thought 3 days at DL and 4-5 days at San Diego. We spent 9 days at WDW and because of low attendance we saw everything we wanted to and at a slow pace. Are we crazy for going in June. I don't expect the same slow pace but is this even a good idea. Thanks for any advice.

If you do not book a package through the Disney Travel Co., can you still purchase one of the tours that depart from the Disneyland Hotel??

Oh, yeah! Any travel agent can book those for you, or you can book them at any of the hotels at the Guest Services desk.

Just returned from 3 days in Anaheim, 2 & 1/2 days in San Diego & 2 days in LA. The 3 days @DLH were enough for us, but it was a slow time of year. We were in DL on Sat. 3/2 & they had a Cheerleading Expo.. The park was packed! We needed the 3rd day just to see the things we missed the 1st day. We did CA in one day, but like I said, it wasn't crowded. If you want to take a slow pace, you may want to make it 4 days @DL, as there is alot to do. San Diego, will be beautiful when you are there. We saw the San Diego zoo & Birch Aquarium & the Coronado Hotel. The weather was quite cool, so we didn't do as much as we would have liked. We went to LA so we could do Universal Studios, & we absolutely loved it! I have never been to the one in FL, so I can't compare. My DH & I both agreed we will definitely go back to California (with the kids), as there is still so much more we want to do. A week definitely was not enough time! By the way, it took us about an hour to get to DLH from LAX, & than it took about another hour to hour & 1/2 to get from DLH to San Diego. We than went from San Diego back to LA & that took us about 2 & 1/2 to 3 hours. Traffic can be pretty heavy, so that is something else I would allow for! No matter what you decide, I'm sure you will enjoy! Kathy :)
