1st time disappointed in a resort (POR)

I can't count the number of trips our family has made
to WDW (which I would have kept records). We
ALWAYS stay on-site at Disney (no other way).
Have tried every resort with the exception of
GF and have returned to every resort. Well, last
week we stayed part of the time at POR (one of
our favorites). It was miserable. No, not the rooms
or the beauty of the resort. The crowded buses and
food court. Unfortunately we took friends there for
the first time (and yes, we did spoil ourselves staying
3 days at AKL) and they also said they will never go
back. NOT once, did we get a seat on the bus from
the resort, NOT once did we not wait in line at
breakfast and dinner at the food court (yes, during
prime times). I DO believe alot had to do with
the POFQ just opening and everyone had booked
POR (we LOVE POFQ and would have stayed there
if we had known it was opening again). Not saying
I would NEVER go back to POR, but it will take us
awhile to return. IF it is true about the mug situation
(waiting in line to refill), I will be choosing other resorts.
