Planning a 7 day Disney cruise and have so may questions. I have been looking at the messages getting some answers, but still more questions. Where to go to get the best price? Directly through DCL or a TA. We have 2 DD 4 and 2. Would you take a just turned 2 DD on a cruise or wait a couple years? What time of the year is a good time to go and still have good rates? Any help would be great. I'm sure I will be back. Can't wait to get one booked and start the count down

as for the cheaper rates go during oct-feb as long as its not a holiday. im going while scholl is in and DD7 will be 8 when we go.

Actually, September is one of the least expensive months. We always cruise in September, and have looked at other months, and this is the least expensive month. When we were on our 7 day cruise last year I went to the "Ask The Captain" session and even asked why September was less expensive than the other months, and he said it is industry wide---September is just not as busy for cruise lines.

Anyway, about prices, call around and get different quotes. Booking early helps. We have a 4 day booked for December 19, 2004 (yes, that is 14 months away). It has gone up $400 since we booked.

Here is a good place to start to get quick quotes:

Also, you can call AAA and check http://www.expedia.com

and I am sure there are others.

Good Luck! You will love the cruise!

We took DS when he was 3 mos short of 2. It was only a 3 day, but he had a blast. He was a fussy eater and never ate very much at one sitting. While cruising he was eating whole slices of pizza and following up with ice cream for dessert. We took him back last Sept (3 mos short of 3) for a 7 day and he loved every minute. Lucky kid is going in Dec this year too. He can't wait to eat ice cream and pizza. Of course since he has expanded his list of acceptable foods from 10 to 20 items we're hoping he'll eat something else ;)

Good Luck in your planning!
