1st time cruise what do I do ?

ok we are planning on going on the Dream out of Port Canaveral in August 2017.
We have never cruised before but we are Masters at Disney World. We know everything.
I'm scared I might miss something important, we are choosing to use a travel agent.
Do you think it's better to use Dreams Unlimited or SmallWorld or should I just use Liberty travel our local travel agency.

I'd find out what TA gives me the best "deal" for using them. Different TAs may offer different perks for using them. You need to figure out what works best for you.

Planning WDW is totally different than planning DCL.

Travel Agents should be able to lead you through the intricacies of cruising with DCL. Be sure that whatever TA you choose has experience with DCL, not just general cruising experience.

The only important things you need to know for cruising are what documents are required to get on the boat and how to get to the terminal. Everything else is just extra fun!

But seriously, try no to over plan your cruise. a 3 or 4 day cruise is barely enough time to get your sea legs much less see and do everything. As you get closer to the sail date, look at some recent cruiseline navigators to see what types of activities there are. Then figure out which ones sound interesting and plan to do those.
