I heard that you can go by Guest Relations at WDW-MK and pick up a button that says "1st Time" for those who are visiting for the first time.

Does anyone know if this is available at DISNEYLAND?

Do they have these at City Hall in DL or is it the booth next to the security check point? Are they free?

Tiggersis,
Thanks so much for the pic of the "1st Visit" button. Where in DL can I pick one up and do they cost anything?

They are free, and I believe you get them at city hall, just like you used to get the birthday stickers. They are part of the new year of a million dreams.

Wow! I knew about the buttons, but I didn't know they had one for the first time! Thanks for the info....That's just one more bit of :wizard: that our family will look forward to!

They are located at City hall. I am glad that the year I am going for my birthday DL decides to upgrade from stickers to buttons! I want to get birthday & Citizen ones :teeth:

Wow, I love those Happy Anniversary ones! I can't help but wonder why those are available at DL but not at WDW. DH and I are celebrating our 25th at WDW next year-maybe by then someone will talk them into shipping some of those buttons to WDW!

OMG you just made my day. I am going to DL for the 1st time in January. I am taking my ds3 and my dd2 with me. I know I will be way more excited than them. I have been to DW too many times to count and now I am finally going to DL. 1st stop city hall!

Your welcome! When I first saw theses I thought what a cool idea. :woohoo: I don't know how they determine if you are a honorary citizen though? Anyways, they are all too cute! :thumbsup2

If you have one birthday child and another non-birthday child, they will give the honorary citizen button to the one not celebrating.

On our last day in the park we were standing near City Hall, and I wandered off to the loo. When I returned, DH said someone gave the boys (DS2 and DS6) Honorary Citizen buttons! I thought it was very sweet but didn't know what it was all about, and DS6 wouldn't wear his, so I don't think anyone even noticed. :(

We just got back on Wed from 9 days at DLR... it was awesome.

Anyway back to the point. My DS got given the Honorary Citizen button by a CM at the entry of the Winnie the Pooh ride. He was going for his 34th ride!! She had been giving him DVC stickers till that point, but suddenly produced this button.

DS also got given the 1st time button by a CM at the Baby Centre just of Main Street. After 9 days we were pretty much regulars and they were always giving him stickers, then on the last day (Tue) the CM gave him the 1st time button. Its a great souvenier.

The CM told me they were giving them out as part of the YOAMD promotion.

Even though he is only 2yo, DS thought they were cool and wore them all day.

So my advice is take a toddler and get friendly with the CMs.

Cheers
Angela

DD & DSIL spent their first night of their honeymoon at the Disneyland Hotel before leaving on a Baja cruise. They received the Just Married button.

I need the Honorary Citizen of Disneyland one.

That sounds good, I'll get one, that way I have a memory stuck in my head. 78 days till Christmas and I'll be there, woo hoooooo, I cant wait :santa:
