Hi all! It was indeed the first time I booked through AAA, in fact, the 1st time I've ever booked a trip period

Here's the situation:

I book 8 nights in Jan. '08, Room Only. But it doesn't give a grand total. It just says the rate per night, and that it doesn't include taxes and etc.

To be honest, I don't even know how to pay for the trip. I printed the confirmation page, but it didn't give much information on payment. Will they bill me for a set deposit amount? And do we pay nightly?

Can anyone help me out? :sad1:

Thanks!

We booked this past year through AAA and we had a pleasant experience. Did you actually talk to someone or just submit something through the computer? I had tried sending in through the computer but noone called me back so I called our local office direct. The woman I spoke to called me back with all the information and emailed it to me before having to sign anything. She did give the total with tax etc.. Once it was all confimed I went into the office to sign and finalize payment. You should be able to do the same. I would call back if I were you and ask for more info, so you know what you are paying. You can also book a room only AAA rate through Disney. Hope this helps.:goodvibes

I would be careful - a Disney Specialist TA can also book this for you and it would be much safer. Many DISers have had problems with AAA agents booking Disney vacations. Not to say all are bad, but far safer to use a highly recommended TA. :flower3:

Until you pay a deposit you are free to work with another agent or directly with Disney.

Would be happy to recommend a very reputable TA if you send a pm. :)

I am also not a fan of AAA when it comes to disney. I was able to save $480 myself today directly through disney and AAA could not get me any type of discount for our trip.IMHO, I doubt i will ever consider them again as a way to book a disney vacation. Maybe my timing just hasn't been right.

Thanks for the info all! To the first replier, I did indeed just submit it through their website. I'm only doing a Room Only reservation because my in-laws were nice enough to take care of our park tickets :yay: And we'll take care of plane tickets when I can find the best rate.

So since we're doing just Room Only, I don't expect too much in discounts.
But I should definitely call to confirm everything.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I trust everything will work out
