We're going to the Swan for our first time. While on vacation we usually eat 3 or 4 meals at the resort where we are staying. Are there any particular resturants we should not miss (or at least try) in the Swan/ Dolphin complex?

We're open to all types of food!

when you stay at the Swan/Dolphin, there are so many restaurants within walking distance that you won't have to limit yourself to just the restaurants that are there. All of Boardwalk is there with Spoodles and Flying Fish, as well as the Beach Club just on the otherside. There are lots of choices!

Everyone has different tastes, budgets and experiences. All $$$$ except for Fresh $$$

If you like Steaks: Shula's
Italian: Il Mulino
Seafood: bluezoo
Fresh Mediterranean Market supposedly now has a Character dinner. Have only enjoyed the lunch and breakfast buffets there. They also have an ala Carte menu.
have a great trip.

The Swan does not have a lot of dining options, but the Boardwalk is just outside the door and there are fantastic restaurants, within a short walking distance, all along Crescent Lake. I have not been to the Swan since Il Mulino opened so can't comment on that. Kimono's is known for great sushi. I cannot recommend Gullivers, having tried it and not been impressed.

Outside of the Swan, I would recommend Fresh (Dolphin) or Spoodles (BW) for breakfast. Beaches & Cream (BC) is a great spot for burgers and shakes. The Flying Fish (BW) and Yachtsman Steakhouse are wonderful fine dining options.

Right over at the Dolphin, Pikabu offers some of the best quick-service food at WDW. Their beef chimichanga is so good, I make a special trip over there just to get it.

We were not impressed with the restaurants at the Swan and the prices are so high. We walked to BC, BW and Epcot for our meals.

We ate at Gulliver's Grill on Italian night and loved it. Great character interaction and great food! It is $$$, but my kids say it is their favorite of the week. They still ask to go back -- we live 1300 miles away, I don't think it will happen soon! Different nights are different themes and characters, so look at the different ones and pick what one works for your family. It wasn't crowded when we went.
