I'm thrilled to be going again with my DD16 and her friend for Easter Break! Just booked our flights. Once again, my entire family cannot make it but we will still have fun ;) Someday we'll all be together!

For the first time we're arriving very late in the day to the resort - after 9:00 p.m. I am wait listed for our arrival Thursday night and I have a studio boardwalk view booked at BWV's for Friday & Saturday nights and a 2 bedroom for the rest of our stay.

Should I stay at a value or moderate on that first night because of our late arrival? I don't want to get stuck with the leftovers at check in but do hate to change resorts. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My 16 yr old DD and I are staying at the BWV during Spring Break too. We always arrive late from the West Coast and this time we're staying at Coronado Springs on an AP rate. We'll usually stay at a moderate resort the night before and check in early the next morning or we stay in a studio our first night and check into the the 1 bdrm the next morning. Helps avoid the late night dregs! ;)
But, since you guys are only staying in a studio a few nights I'd risk taking a chance on a late check in just so you're not packing and unpacking too much. It will be full capacity at the BWV for April so you probably won't get your room until late in the day. Sometimes that can be a pain when you want to get to your room and relax.
Have fun during your stay and good luck getting some bathroom mirror time with those two teens! :)

I would book the value and get to Boardwalk early and request the best view that they have. We were at BeachClub in Aug and stayed at Boardwalk one night. We went straight over and I asked for the best preferred view that he had, if it wasn't a Boardwalk view, well I don't know what is. It was great!!! If We had arrived later we could have been in a much less view, I have heard of them. They are filled in April, happy travels.

I know you hate to change resorts, so keep it simple ...pack 1 bag as your unpack bag at a Value or Moderate(have everyone put 1 change of clothes, bathing suit, underware, etc in 1 reg size suitcase. Mark it with a green ribbon- and only use that one-leave the rest in the closet. Your carry on should have your sleeping clothes and mini toiltries, so you don't even need those.

To make it easier you might want to consider renting a car(but not necessary) to get from the value/moderate. Then asap get to Broadwalk, if Disney transports your luggage, they will tell you what time to expect it at Broadwalk.

Easter is such a busy time- and hotels sell out(and get oversold), so I would want to be there in the am and not 9pm...you are always free to wait to get into your room for a better room.

Well since you are waitlisted for the first night I would stay on the waitlist and see if it comes in. Since it is a BW view I don't think you will have to worry about having a bad room. But I would book a back up at a moderate or value in case your waitlist doesn't come in. Good luck!

I used to think I would HATE changing resorts but this past trip we stayed 2 night and universal then checked into the BCV, my kids are 7&4 and it was GREAT seeing different places to stay. We are hoping to go next Dec and will be doing Pop for 2 nights.
