We spent this past weekend at the All Star Music. We stayed at the Broadway Inn. This was the only area that we had not stayed in before, and I think it is our favorite! We had friends in from NC who were staying in Orlando so we had a great visit with them. We had not seen them in about two years, but as is always the case with true friends, we picked right up where we left off. Also, our son (6) and their son (7) hit it off famously! We did Animal Kingdom on Sunday am. The park was great. The longest wait was 20 minutes (Kali River Rapids and the Safarri). We walked right on Dinosaur and right into Festival of the Lion King.
After lunch and a break at the pool we went to MGM. Again, no lines. We waited zero minutes for Star Tours, got front row seats for the parade with only a 20 minute wait, walked right into Beauty and the Beast and the Playhouse Disney shows, and had the ironic 13 minute wait for Tower of Terror. As always we had a GREAT weekend at the World!
This is the start of our WDW month of fun! Next weekend we are staying at the Polynesian for Mother's Day (check-in on Saturday after Tee Ball). Then we are taking a four day weekend at the Carribbean Beach Resort with a couple of our friends and their neice on Memorial Day. Then finally, the last weekend of May/first weekend of June we have two rooms at the All Star Sports with our two kids and our neighbor's two children (our son 6, our daughter 2, their son 6, their daughter 2).
