Two showings of Dreams?

I know they do one at park closing, what time would the earlier one be?

We're going in July/August and I am concerned about keeping the kids (aged 9 and will be 6) up until past 11. If there is an earlier Dreams showing that would be great.

last week at weekends they were doing 2 shows of Dreams - one at 9.30pm, and one at park close 10.30pm :).

I guess this means, for me at least, theres very little chance we'll be doing EMH :rotfl:.

With it being just me and Olivia - I don't think there's any chance of me getting to see dreams AND do EMH! I know which one I'll be choosing though! ;)

hey come on - im gonna try for both lol well, at least once :lmao:

only *** i want pics of the park a lil empty haha

All you lightweights;) Fortunately i'm used to early starts & long days through my work. Having said that I won't be doing EMH everyday.

Great news, I wonder too if they will do two showings of dreams or if they will still keep that for weekends and peak season.

Great news about the hours :cool1:. Having said that, I doubt we'll make it that late even once with the girls :rotfl2:.

I do hope that they do two viewings of Dreams but will be it be dark enough at 9.30 pm :confused3

EMH is a huge thing for us as a lot of Fantasyland is open without queues (or very little) and it's where the girls most want to be. So, I guess we'll be sacrificing the late nights most of the time. I'll be sweet talking DH to stay in the room with the girls so that I can pop out for some shopping in the evening/and watch Dreams :thumbsup2

We are the only people on holiday that week though and according to the brochure that week counts as low season so not sure they would want to go to the expense of two showings? I notice at the moment when there are two shows of dreams the parade is at 7 instead of 5 and the anniversary train is in the afternoon instead of the morning so I wonder if this will happen half term week too. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Waiting and seeing isn't good for my plannning though :rotfl2:

Sorry, had just presumed it would be 9.30 as that is what I had read on another forum but knew it wouldn't be dark enough. Doesn't leave much time between the showings though does it if they do one at 10 pm and one for park closing - would this one start at 11 pm then?

Jo - you are so organised. I go the same time as you and I have done so little it's starting to worry me! I know where I want to eat (I think) but haven't booked anything etc. I think once I get the girls' birthdays out of the way, an upcoming close family wedding, oh and the demolition job going on in our bedroom done :rotfl2:, I'll be able to make a start I hope - that will leave me like a week to do it all :rotfl2:! I haven't even written a list yet - which is SO not like me :scared1:.

i NEED to book our transfers lol

i have no lists, but i do have my new suitcase.... :lmao: hey, its a start lol

yes, i am failing at the planning side, with not knowing whats on when its horrible - dont they understand that we NEED to know this information??? huh????

i, atm, am just writing the things i want to do, and hopefully i can figure out sum sort of plan that fits them all in!!

i have got sum of our new disney clothes sat nr the cases - does that count???

WOW this is better than we had dared to hope. Between the looooong opening hours and having the luxury of the VIP fastpass on the Tuesday, I feel like we'll be able to relax. Go for a swim or power nap in the afternoons, have long leisurely meals, etc. Dunno if my dad will be impressed with the notion of Disney 8am-11pm for 4 days, but we'll ease him into it :rotfl:
It's not often I'd be pleased about revising my itinerary but i'm more than happy to do it to accomodate an extra two hours a day
Thanks for sharing!

It's for this reason that I'm now a bit sad about travelling alone with DD. If she can't stay up, I don't get to see dreams and given that it's the main reason for booking this second trip I am now more than a little bit worried!

I know I may be in danger of being a bad mother......but just for one night, perhaps your last one, might you consider squishing your daughter into a stroller (she does look quite petite from the photos on your TR!!!), covering her in blankets and bribing her with hot chocolate????? That way your DD could maybe sleep and you could enjoy!! :cool1:

We used this method often when we were :hippie: and used to go to festivals. No longterm damage done!!!
