1st Haircut

Anyone have any pictures or helpful advice??

Also, if I do the package with the ears and locket of hair do they hold onto or ship it back to the room?? Please please say yes!!

Definitely check in 30 minutes before your appointment so they can have a photopass photographer there. We loved it! My little one who hates strangers messing with her did wonderfully!

Just did this last month with grandson. It's $25.00, you get the haircut, lock of hair, Mickey ears, a special certificate and lots of attention. The stylist was great with him, nice and gentle. We were so surprised that he just sat there in a trance like state while she worked. He's 22 months and is usually a whirling Tasmanian Devil of a little guy. We stayed offsite so we took the ears, hair and certificate with us.

We've done it for both our boys. No photopass photographers for either, unfortunately. But they were amazing with the boys and entertained them and they hardly knew they were getting their haircut. We had to bring all the stuff back to the room with us (but we did the haircut before headed back to resort for a rest in the afternoon).

They covered my son with stickers to occupy him during the haircut. That really helped. It was a really great experience!

We had it done in June. Disappointed no photopass there. Honestly, the lady had absolutely no personality- no interaction with our child (other than cutting her hair), no smile, nothing. A little disappointed in this- though the other ladies were pretty much the same. I felt like I was at my local Super Cuts. I would never discourage anyone from doing it, but I guess our expectations were a little high!

Ask for pixie dust for any other kids in your group (we had to ask- not offered) and they will cover them in glitter.

Locket went with us- don't think they are going to ship that to your room. And remember tips MUST be paid in cash- can not charge tip to your MB or cc.
