When taking the earliest flight from MCO (7am) what time should you arrive at the airport? Thanks!

I would be there at 5:00 a.m. Your ticket counter may not be open till around 5:30 but at least I am already in line so that I can be one of the first ones to check my luggage in. That way I am not rushed to get through the security line in order to make it to my gate.


Remember 7:00 a.m. means they will start boarding your flight as early as 20-30 minutes before the flight time. So they will begin boarding around 6:30. If the ticket counter opens at 5:30 that only gives you an hour to check the luggage and get through security.

At MCO I would arrive at least an hour and a half before boarding. At our local small airport one hour before boarding is fine, but even early MCO can be busy!!!

I would get there between 5 and 530. The last time I had a early flight i couldn't believe how long and how slow the Security lines were, they don't have many lines open and it took almost 45 minutes to get though security.

Is 7 am really their earliest flight?

I just had a 5:10 am flight out of Newark (NJ) 2 weeks ago...... (which was completely insane of me to book, but that's another story)
