Speaking as a store manager (not a disney one) I tell my customers to let me know if they have any problems with any of my staff. My staff knows this and tell me up front if they had any misunderstandings with customers usually before I hear from the customer if they even contact me at all. You should contact someone and let them know so they can work with that CM and make them better at there job and to let them know not to let their perspective on a resort influence how they deal with the people they talk to. You apparently aren't looking to get them fired so just let the person know it was something you thought they should be made aware of and address with the CM.
