1st DVC stay

Should we expect any packets of information about an upcoming stay on DVC points (similar to the packets sent out for regular room stays) or do you just get your information from the website and this board?

No packets until you arrive at the resort.

You will get a confirmation letter stating dates, resort, clean-up services dates. But no "packet" with detailed resort info. I guess they figure if you are a DVC member, you know well enough about the resort.

You do get a welcome packet on arrival that is similar to the one received at a cash resort. It does have the addition of a DVC Perks pamphlet. But until then nothing to browse and look over. You'll just have to spend one time here on the DISboards.
