Last year when my son went to Kindergarten I was fine and so was he. However, he had a positively horrid teacher so we transferred him to another school. Again we were both fine- no tears just big ol' lumps in our throats. Then a month into that school he was tested and placed into the gifted and talented school across town. Mommy could no longer drive him (too long of a drive) and boy did that break both of our hearts. He is in 1st grade now and still goes to the G&T school but he insists that Mommy walk him to the bus stop and hold his hand the WHOLE time until the bus comes. Lucky me, I would probably bawl my eyes ou if he didn't. Next year my oldest daughter starts K and I hope to God that she doesn't get transferred 3 times.

That made my day....my baby had such a great time she didnt want to leave!

DS didn't sleep well last night. She is the AIG teacher and expects ALOT from her students. I understand that but I want him to like school not dread it. When he gets home I'll have to give him a big hug
I hope she's not too mean, I hate to think about when I have to tell her that DS is going to be out for a week next month to go to WDW

Then I covered my bases and told him not to get too excited, by the time he's home, I will have gotten used to the fact that my "baby" isn't a baby anymore and any thoughts of another will have long left my mind.
, which is why I have no problem telling his big secret........... I walked in on him this morning........ listening to the "Beatles" which is our "college man's" fav. music right now............ lol
My baby started kindergarten this week.
