Well, we are back and it was great. DH, myself and DD's 13, 11, 9, and 6 started off Jan 20 in Buffalo at the Comfort Suites. We took the hotel shuttle to the airport at 5:30 am for our 7:15 flight on SWA. Flight was good and when we arrived we were greeted by our white stretch limo from Southern Elegance - this was a surprise for the girls and they loved it! Movies, pop and lots of room. DH really liked laying back and just relaxing for once and not have to worry about directions and traffic.
We then arrived at the Radisson and checked in right away, the girls swam and then we took the hotel shuttle to the beach and just called them to pick us up when we were done. The next day was Saturday and we used Art's Shuttle to get to Kennedy Space Center and back ($60 with tip). The KSC was interesting but we did not realize that the Astronaut hall of Fame was not on the same site and you had to drive there seperate.
Sunday was the day we had been waiting for- although it was very cold! We had the 10 am shuttle from the Radisson to the Port. We were first in line to get into the terminal which was nice because we checked in, got our KTTW cards, checked the kids into the clubs and just sat back and relaxed.
We had lunch at BBB - very good buffet. We had TTAP early seating and wow did we eat too much! The girls got there hair braided that night and they also watched Mr. 3000. We did not notice the rough seas but others did - glad we did not!
Nassau day was plenty of sun but a cool wind. We did the Dolphin Encounter and it was a highlight!
Castaway Cay was beautiful and the warm weather just made it even better! 4 of us went Parasailing and it was also a highlight!
The day at sea was very relaxing and warm! The Mickey and Goofy pools were a zoo, but what can you expect with that many kids on board!
Unfortanetly all good things come to an end and we had to get off the ship! We went back to the Radisson for one more night and then it was off to the airport in our Limo and back home to the cold and snow
We had an incredible time on the Wonder and we will never forget it!
