This is our first Christmas visit and a couple of things comes to mind.

1. Is it OK to decorate your hotel window with lights? That would be fun but not sure if it is allowed. We are staying at POP.

2. Coupon for discount on day of CP for shopping in EPCOT...does that still occur?

That is all I can think of for now. Is there any other hints out there for us first timers at WDW during Christmas? Our first day in the parks will be the 19th and plan to hit the MK first knowing the crowds will be steadily growing as the 25th gets closer.

Any suggestions/advice is welcomed.

Can't wait!!!:hyper:

I don't know about the lights in a window, I would call an ask. How about a small tree with lights that would be cute. As far as I know they do not give the dsicount on shopping anymore if you have the CP package.

Make sure you see the Osborne Lights. this is up to you. If go and see the opening of the lights, there are mobs of people , if you wait about an hour after they open the mobs of people thin out and you can walk comfortably around without be squezzed to death. The opening is very cute, so it is whatever you would like to do.

There are a couple of smaller things we like to do. The lighting of the xams tree at MK and the light of the arch of lights and tree at Epcot. Both are great. Go hotel hopping. The decoration are amazing. It is know that the hotels over in the BW area have some of the most beautiful decorations of all. Don't forget to go see the lifesize gingerbread house at the GF. truly amazing.

I am sure other people will have some other ideas.

I think the "snow" on Main Street and the snowflake designs that are projected onto the castle are absolutely beautiful!Have a great trip!:D
