I booked my flight to MCO using my Westjet Elite MasterCard. How does the Westjet attendant checking you in at the airport know you booked with the MC? Is it flagged on their system? I looked on the booking confirmation and didn't see anything.

Yes, they will know! Also when you do online checkin it will show no fees for the bag.

The Elite card is attached to your WestJet ID. So there is a free bag code attached to those travelling on the same reservation.

We love our Westjet Mastercards for this reason as well as the annual companion pass. Last trip to Disneyland we saved $200 because we each had one checked bag on both flights. Since we fly at least twice a year that saves us at least $400!!

We just got our cards earlier this year so wee received the bonus Westjet dollars plus the companion fare. It saved us ALOT of money!
