1BR std available 6 days out

Hey everyone:

Just wanted to share that I upgraded to a 1BR std. for this Sunday arrival and it was available. I could have gotten either one. I was pleasantly surprised that the std. was available.

Nice to know as I am waitlisted for BCV & BWV for Spring Break time so I guess there's always hope huh?

Does a wait list exist at 6 days? Or were you just calling to check each day?

In any case, in spite of a few bad anecdotes, I am amazed by the efficiency of the DVC computer system -- especially the wait list.

Many resorts, etc, don't even deal with the hassle of wait lists. These seem to work very well. They have for me.

I was waitlisted for 3/17 for 2 bdrm std view. I was booked at OKW for that night and then switching over to BWV the next day and staying through 3/22. I called today to see if I could get a preferred view for the night instead. She then informed me that my new confirmation was being mailed out for the 2 bdrm std view. So watch out for The Murphy Brothers checking in on St Patty's Day!!

I was not actually waitlisted - I had a studio and decided I would see if there was availability for a 1BR - they had both std. and preferred available.
