I read on mousesavers.com that you can purchase a length of stay unlimited usage pass at a marina for your entire family for $199. I have also been told by a few that have used it that it is a fabulous deal. I do have a few questions.

1. Do you have to be staying at the resort that you purchase the pass for. ie, If you're staying at an all star resort, are you able to purchase the pass at the Contemporary marina?

2. Is the pass good only at that one marina or at any WDW marina? (This seems too good to be true, but a comment I read elsewhere made it sound possible)

3. I am spending 3 days with friends at one resort and then switching to a different resort and joining my family for 6 days. Am I able to sign up for the pass for the entire 9 days?

Thanks for any input you can give me! This sounds like a great deal!

I've been running around trying to gather info about the Unlimited Plan-
this is all hearsay, so I hope someone can corroborate-

1-Yes, if you're a guest at a Disney resort you are eligible to sign up for the plan.
2-I've heard someone refer to something like this too-you get a wristband or something and I assume you can use that at any or participating marinas-???
3-I've also read that there was a 7 day cap!

Sorry to just add more conjecture to your questions!

BIG BUMP-and someone may bump this over to the Resorts boards.

I'm wondering about this, as well. Anybody??

No, you cannot use it at any marina. They will ask to see your room key when you sign up and for checking in. We did it at the Polynesian over the 4th of July.

Anyone know if the Epcot resorts offer this?

I have heard bits and pieces on different internet sites about an Unlimited
Marina Plan.

Could you please forward any information about how this works.

Some questions:

1. What resorts offer this?

2. Can a guest from a different WDW resort purchase this plan?

3. What is the cost?

4. Is there a limit to the number of days?

5. Is this plan good for 1 person or your entire party?

Trixy!
I don't have an answer for you, but I wanted to say hi! It's nice to "see" you here!

Trekker, Hi and thank you for taking the time to email WDW. It looks like this is only for Fort Wilderness guests. I am so disappointed. :(

Thank you Trekker!

The truth is wildly different from the net rumours!

Thanks for the clarification.

Guys do yourself a favor and check it out at the marina when you get there. I was able to ask Melissa with the Polynesian Concerge before we arrived. I just hope they have not stopped it

We are staying at the YC Sept 20-27 so when I saw the post about the $199 marina pass I called the marina at the YC and they do offer this deal. I would just call the marina of whatever resort you are staying at and check with them.

I have talked to CRO and I have contacted the Poly, along with reading posts on the DVC board. You can get into this plan, at whatever marina you want, as long as you are staying on property. We will be staying at the BCV but will join the plan at the Poly. I have also read where there is the possibility of signing up 5 people on one plan, that's what someone on the other board did. This has been the information that I have been able to gather. I hope it helps but I would definitely check into it at each marina. You can also check the recreation director at the resort that you are interested in getting this plan at for a definite answer. Also make sure you note his/her name.

Hey all - I have to agree with other posters - be sure to check this out for yourself at the marina.

Although the answer to my e-mail may be the correct policy for Fort Wilderness it did not include any info about other resorts.

I'm not sure why but you can never seem to really getthe full answer from Disnay about anything.

We just used the unlimited plan at the Poly. It was GREAT! And we had five people in our family (okay..our 3 year old did not really use it) but they let us take out three mouse boats at once. Very liberal and really great bargin!

...it was for up to FIVE members of your family. We used this plan on our recent stay at WL, and it was WELL WORTH IT! Yes, you show room room key and they issue you a wristband. I believe the use of the beach volleyball net (and ball) was included in the pkg; my DH, 2 DS's, and DSis-in-L played volleyball for about 1-1/2 hours against some other WL guests they happened to meet near the pool....
