I found an old audio cassette from the 1980's in which I had recorded the Walt Disney World AM radio station that was heard as guests drove on World Drive towards the Magic Kingdom parking lot.

I've transferred the audio to two .mp3 files. One for the entrance station and one for the exit station. I'd like to share these with you, if you like. I don't know how to upload them to a website as .mp3 files, so if someone can help me do that, I'd appreciate it.

The files are about two minutes each and the sound quality is not so great, but fascinating nonetheless. I was like 15 years old at the time and not geeky enough to know how to record it with great quality.

The cassette also had the audio portion of the WDW TV station that played at the resorts, as we'd stayed at the Contemporary back then. I will be transferring this to an .mp3 file as well.

If you PM me, I'd also be happy to email the radio files to you.

Thanks!

2016 Update - I've uploaded the sound to Youtube and made a little video from it and some old photos.

You could upload the files to a file hosting service such as megaupload or FilesAnywhere, and that would allow you to simply post a link for people to download the .mp3 files. Hope this helps! PM me if you have any questions.

I know if thread is very old, but can I get a copy of the 1980's walt Disney radio mp3 files? thanks

Welcome to the DIS, but your first post and you resurrect a Zombie thread? :confused3

sorry about that. I recently remembered the old Disney Radio that you would hear on I75, and I found a couple of audio files, then I remembered the Entrance / Exit AM radios and have been looking like crazy for anyone with files.

PM me your email and I will email them to you.

Maybe they did a search for WDW audio files and this thread came up. Then, they saw that the OP was offering them for free so they joined so that they could request it.

Why are people always so flabbergasted when a new poster reopens a zombie thread, when the chain of events is so easy to piece together? :confused3

If you search Disney related topics on popular seach engines, it's quite common that a Disboard comes up among the first few results.
