What about Washington DC or Williamsburg area? The temps in Nov aren't too bad and there is lots to do. Have you thought about renting a scooter for your DD? Check with med supply places to see if anyone locally would rent to you for a week or so.

DC has plenty of free stuff to do. And wouldn't be that hard of a drive.

Can you do the first weekend in Nov? Hershey is still open and they have a shuttle to and from the park if you stay at the Hershey Lodge, you can call and talk to the concierge about loading and unloading on the bus, they are great help. It is hilly there so I would recommend a scooter so no one is pushing anyone.

Also the park is open late but if you take the shuttle then you dont have to drive. They have outlets for during the day or Chocolate World or a trolley tour of Hershey.
