can anyone give an update on the roadworks on the 192? Has all the work finished yet?

Was all clear in January.

Has it improved things ?
we'll its hard to remember what it was like before the road works they've been there so long Best times to avoid is rush hours, the locals seem to enjoy cutting up the tourists on their RUSH home from work

When we were there last July/August the roadworks were all but finished, but there were still cones everywhere and it was still pretty bunged up in places. In December the roadworks were all finished (they've made a really good job of sprucing it all up) and everything was free-flowing. Having said that we only used west 192 (from Splendid China to the Disney exits), but it sounds as though Dave's covered the situation further east.
