1900 vs Rainforest Cafe?

We ate Dinner at 1900 Dec. 31st..2016
3 adults, 2 kids
just a tad over $200..
Experience was worth it.. Characters were great... probably the best interaction of any..
Food, lots of choices including prime rib... pretty good.

We were there at PEAK time and didn't really notice the crowd. Every table was full but getting to and from the bar was easypeasy. Also, my twins have food allergies and the chef helped them with selections, even making them a special desert..

Wow. I'm not discounting your experience at all, but ours was the opposite. Enjoyed both the food and the characters at 1900 for dinner. I didn't notice any lack of cleanliness.

I wish I went on your night. Our experience was not a good one. My son hardly ate. The quality of food was pretty awful most of all. I'd look past a dirty buffet if the food is good, lol, but sadly, it was not. Far from it. As I said, the step sisters were hilarious and im kinda glad I went to see them because they're one of my faves.

@goofyintoronto - Sorry your experience was less than stellar. Like @msb578 we had a good experience with a buffet that was clean, fresh, and tasty. I'm a selective eater and even I tried and liked new things.

If not for the prime rib at 1900, i might not have been as happy with the meal but that and the fact that i am pretty sure my oldest son is now engaged to marry one of those step sisters made the dinner worthwhile!

With the prices they charge, it'll be a while before I go back. Yes the step sisters were funny but definitely not enough to justify the cost. And frankly I prefer ordering off a menu anyway, food quality is much better. But thats just me.

@goofyintoronto - There are plenty of places in WDW, no need to go where you don't enjoy the food. But a bad experience or off night can happen to anyone, at any restaurant.

Yes obviously. I've been to disney more times than I care to count...its true that it can definitely happen anywhere.
