trying to decide between 199PF and CRT for my 5 yr old daughter and son (he has to come). we will be doing the DDP and not sure if CRT is worth the 2 dinners (some say the time with Cinderella is limited and the food is ok) or if 1900 PF is just as good? Thanks :)

Hi,
1900PF is a lot better and worth more than the castle. The CRT menu has changed over the years from an all you can eat traditional breakfast plate to "unique" versions of classics. My son and I were very disappointed in the meal when we visited in September. The food choices at 1900 is much greater and you have a special childrens section as well as adults for food selection and select your own omlete bar.
Walt DisneyWorld website has menus to see what they offer so you can make your decision.
Have a truely MAGICAL vacation!

I'm thinking you can't go wrong at either place, but I do think that the food at 1900PF is superior, really the best buffet I've ever eaten at. Not to say that CRT's food isn't good, it was a great meal too, but limited choices on the menu.

For character experience I think you would get more Cinderella time at 1900, and you also get the fairy godmother, and all the other Cinderella characters. For me, I thought the experience of eating in the castle was super cool, but I don't think my kids were as excited about that part as I was.

It was neat to see all the princesses in one place, but honestly overall I think I would lean towards 1900PF.......but maybe CRT on another trip.

We've eaten breakfast at CRT twice in the past and both times I was totally unimpressed with the food. Very limited choices for breakfast and honestly not very tasty either. I am trying to decide whether we should try again on an upcoming trip or just go to 1900 PF as well. I have never been there so I will be interested to see how everyone else responds. If we do go back to CRT it will be strictly to eat in the castle and pose with Cinderella but not for any other reason. Good luck. BTW, we are on the basic DDP but if we go, will pay OOP.

I have to agree with everyone, CRT was very disappointing, the food was so-so, and it felt very rushed and no time with the characters. 1900 Park fair on the other hand was great (especially for only 1 credit.) The characters took all the time to interact and visit each table and the food is unbelievable.:thumbsup2

We have eaten at both and my girls would pick eating in Cinderellas castle breakfast hands down. My family still votes to eat here once every trip and they are (8 11 14) I would try CrT at least once it is worth the experience. However if you just don't want to pay out of pocket or use 2tbl 1900 Park Fare dinner would be a good option as well. We have done both in the past when my girls were around that age. They just loved Cinderella.

The buffet at Park Fare is very good. I have eaten there on every trip and have never been disappointed. Cinderella and Prince charming are not typically rushed and spend plenty of time at each table. I also enjoyed the interaction with Lady Tremayne and the step sisters. The step sisters are hysterical.
