Okay, so I've asked about this place before and understood it a little better, but I'm still not clear. I know that GF has a special tea thing that is separate, and then 1900 Park Fare is a regular buffet restuarant. This is the place that has "Cinderella's Gala Feast" right? Is this a character meal, or just regular buffet? Is the "Gala Feast" something special or is that just what it's called all the time? Is the tea in the same restaurant just at a specific time, or is it in a completely separate location too? We're considering doing this restaurant in April, and my sister is considering the tea with her daughter, so I'm trying to understand the specifics before I book for us.

Cinderella's Gala Feast is the dinner buffet at 1900 Park Fair. We think this is the best buffet, at least of the ones we've tried. Excellent food. Characters include, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Perla, Fairy Godmother and the other mouse, (sorry, I'm blanking on her name!!!) :guilty: It's very nice.

The Afternoon Tea is at the Garden View Lounge at the Grand Floridian and an altogether different thing. It's from 2 to 4:30 daily.

The afternoon tea takes ADRs too, right? My sister wants to take her daughter, and I'm just trying to find out what to do for her. It's got characters too, right?

They take ADRs for the afternoon tea, but there aren't any characters. I think there is a special morning tea party for kids, but I don't know much about it.

The tea party you're looking for I'm guessing is called the Wonderland tea party. The last I read (I haven't done it yet) it is held M-F from 1:30 to 2:30 in 1900 Park Fare and is hosted by Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. I believe it is around $28/person. There is also one called My Perfect Princess Tea Party or something to that effect with the princesses at the GF, but it is $200 per person! I'm taking my girls to the Alice one for much less money... and yes, you do need to make an ADR for that one too. I believe you can do that one 180 days out as well!

Suzie and Perla. Perla wears purple and Suzie wears blue.

Okay, I'm looking for info on the Perfect Princess Tea Party I believe....can anyone tell me about it?

1900 was OK as far as the characters, but the food is better at alot of other buffets. Try Crystal Palace for a great buffet, but the characters are all from Pooh and the gang.

Karen and Jamie :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Dh and I both agreed that 1900 has fantastic food...and we normally do not like buffets. When you go, be sure to try the pastas prepared at the small bar to the left of the buffet area. Yummmm....

Other mouse = Suzy lol
We had the pleasure of dining at this buffett in August and it was a wonderful experience. The mice, Perla and Suzy were so cute and sweet and Cinderella and Prince Charming were very gracious and royal. My daughter thought the Prince was "dreamy"and she told him so too. We had no complaints at all about this meal, it was great.
