My family has always had our character breakfast at O'hana at the Polynesian. We love the family-style service, but wanted to try something different for February. What is the 1900 Park Fare breakfast like? Buffet-style? I understand that Mary Poppins is the main charcter - who else is normally there? I've seen so many different characters listed for this restaurant. We're just trying to pick the best place for our family.

When I went it was Mary Poppins, Snow White, Alice, and the Mad Hatter.
I feel like I'm forgetting a couple of them.
Mary Poppins was great because she really chatted with us.
I think it's a good character breakfast.

DD15 and I always have breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. We have the first seating (we are early birds). The food, to us, is the best breakfast buffet on property. It is quieter and more refined than the other character meals. We've always had lots and lots of character interaction here. My daughter looks older than 15 and lots of the other character meals that we go to tend to rush by or even skip a second round because they think we are too old. Not 1900. It's our favorite.

We liked this one best - Pinnochio spent ALOT of time with our then 3 yr old grandaughter, he even fed her her breakfast!! Alice in Wonderland was there, Gipetto, Mary Poppins (who was fabulous - spent alot of time with her, and she kept returning along with Pinnochio - she even invited us to meet her at a certain spot during the afternoon parade and she would bring the children into the parade! (alas, it stormed that afternoon and the parade was cancelled, but just being asked was a thrill for them) The food was better than we got at Chef Mickeys - nicer atmospher, quieter

We enjoyed the characters, and the food was above par for a Disney buffet.:earsboy:

This is the only character meal my DS has ever asked to go back to. I hope you have the Mad Hatter. He was great! My son had a blast kidding around with him. The servers are very good, and the food is better than typical buffet fare. You won't be disappointed. :)

We loved the breakfast there! It was my DH favorite so far at WDW. We had Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger. The food was very good and the selection was better than most buffets. You must try the strawberry soup, if they have it. We asked for the recipe and have made it several times since we got home. My family loves it!!

We liked it so much we are going to try the dinner buffet this trip. Can't wait to see Cinderella and Prince Charming!(It will also be my birthday!!)

Have fun!!

I agree with the other posters that this is a wonderful buffet. We have gone twice for breakfast and both times had Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh.

Plus you get to visit the GF which is always nice;)

The breakfast buffet is most impressive here and I highly recommend it (as far as character breakfasts go).

I wasn't a big fan of dinner though. Wouldn't go back for that, very over priced for what it was IMHO although many like it. I can think of many other places to dine for dinner in WDW for that price.

We were ther in Oct and the characters were Cinderella, the mice, and her prince. I can't remember who was in the lobby greeting...sorry...

We loved Park Fare breakfast. The food was very good!

Mary Poppins was the highlight of that breakfast. We also saw The Mad Hatter and Alice, Eeyore and Pooh.

I wouldn't hesitate to do this breakfast again.
