If you happen to have eaten dinner at both places which would you choose to return to? TY!

I have dined at both and must say that they are different. Very different.

1900 PF is a fun buffet type meal and has multiple characters rotating the room. You get to have any assortment of food you wish, and can choose your own appetizers and desserts.

AP is a set meal with your only choice the entree. The character interaction was really good, and I did enjoy the food.

If I was to choose I would choose Storybook DIning, but that is because I do not care to have too many buffets on my roster, and we typically book a meal with the classics. Plus we alwyas call my DH Grumpy Guy, so we really needed to arrange a meeting with teh real deal.

If I was going to choose for you, I would ask what your favorite characters were, and who you really wanted to meet. IMO, this is where the rubber meets the road. Who do you want to meet? Character meals are more about experience than food, and this is true between the two meals you are considering.

This
no one picks character meals for the food

Do you want Cindy & gang or do you want Snow White & gang?

Both have reports of above average character interaction with characters you can't see elsewhere (villains), both are $55 per person before tax. IMO the buffet vs. plated format is secondary to what characters you actually want to meet.

We are on the DDP and want to make good use of a TS credit.

Our criteria are:

Must have easy access to MK (entering MK for DAH at 7:00 pm)
Would like characters for my DD (any princess is fine)
Something that would also appeal to my three boys (12, 10, 8) - they are excited about character dining if you can believe it!

That’s really our only criteria. I was set on Storybook Dining (and have a 5:15 pm ADR), but it has gotten many poor reviews lately so I was wondering if 1900 PF would be a better choice, TY!

I'd stick with Storybook to be honest. It has something for everyone, snow white for your DD who wants to see a princess, and the two dwarves for your boys. Plus the evil queen, which is hard to find. I've eaten at 1900 and didnt like the food at all. The only good thing about 1900 IMO is the step sisters. They're HILARIOUS. But in terms of food quality, i'd go with storybook. I've been to Artist Point before they changed it over to storybook and its really good....apparently they use the same chefs. :) If its the same price, then there's no contest. Storybook for sure.

LOL, you sound like me! I am doing DAH on 1/17 and had GF Cafe booked for dinner that evening since it would allow easy transit to MK. Switched to Storybook Dining when I heard the reviews because I am doing DlxDP. I know I will probably only eat the entree, so it is hard to imagine myself paying OOP at some point in the future for it, and I am excited about the characters available. I also think it will increase to 2 credits at some point... Anyway, I figure I can do 1900 PF dinner when I am back down there in December :)

That's a tough question. Both in my top 5. 1900 is a little more casual and silly, Artist Point is a little more "ooh and ahh". I left both plenty stuffed. You can't go wrong with either. Maybe AP, though, just because it's more unique.
