1900 Park Fare vs GF CAFÉ for breakfast

We plan to start our waterpark day next may with a relaxing breakfast at our resort. I have been to 1900 for diner, but this was maybe ten years ago. We are two adults, so the Characters are no must, altough I like to meet them. Which one would you choose? I checked the menues and they are both okay, so I ask more about decoration, food quality, wait times and overall impressions. Thanks for you input.

We are just back and went to GF Café for b-fast. The french toast and floridian citrus pancakes were both excellent. The atmosphere was very nice.

GFC is less expensive than 1900, but if you are willing to pay for the buffet price I would pick 1900 because of the overall experience. GFC is good too, though!

GF Cafe. One of my least favorite TS on property is 1900 Park Fare...the setting turned me off instantly. And the food was just ok (breakfast). For two adults, skip that character craze and enjoy breakfast.

If you aren’t interested in characters, do GF Cafe - better food, better prices

If you want a relaxing, quiet breakfast, definitely GF Café. We had Christmas morning breakfast there a few years ago, and it was lovely. Ask for a seat away from the entrance, it'll be much quieter and prettier (especially if you get a table by the windows). My family and I enjoyed everything about our breakfast there. Our service was wonderful, the food was amazing, and the overall ambiance was very nice (same at dinner time).

I do like 1900PF for breakfast and dinner, but it has always been a chaotic experience. The food is really good (love the cream cheese blintzes and sticky rolls), but service has been so-so there for us, and the character interaction our last 2 breakfasts has not been great, almost like they were racing to get done and nothing personal about it.
