We love a good breakfast on our departure day. Our go to is usually Boma, Whispering Canyon or Cape May. We are taking a friend who has never been to Disney, on a girls trip with moms and college aged girls. We really want a character breakfast. By mistake I made our our ADR at Cape May for the wrong day so now we have and ADR for Park Fare. Since we are a group of 8 I doubt we will get a Cape May ADR. How do the two compare?? We love the characters at Cape May.
Thoughts?? Thanks so much!!!

Well, I think 1900 has the chilled strawberry soup, so there's that...

Otherwise I'd definitely keep looking for Cape May. It's one of my faves. And the characters at 1900 don't really seem cohesive - like how do they connect to each other?

The characters at 1900 Believe. Or Dream. Or they had costumes. Or something.

I still lament the death of 1900 Park Fare breakfast the way it used to be! It was me and DH's favorite character breakfast! We had Alice come and sit at our table one time and she held like a 3-4 minute conversation with my introverted hubby. I had the good sense to record it. Another time Mad Hatter came over to our table of 2 while DH was up at the buffet and asked if I was alone. As soon as I said no, my husband is at the buffet, he sat down in hubby's seat and shocked me so badly I was speechless. You can just imagine the look on my husband's face as he rounded the corner to see him in his chair! Such good times and such great memories.

Having said all that - as it stands at present I would 1000% chose Cape May over 1900 Park Fare - especially for a girls trip. Minnie and Daisy are so cute in their beach attire! I hope you can get the reservation for your group!

Maybe even try splitting into two groups of four to get a reservation. Towards the end of the buffet at cape May, I don’t think it’s as crowded and have easily been able to get last minute walk ups (granted for a smaller party).
