1900 Park Fare review....

our second night dinner was at 1900 Park Fare....


DH loves this dinner...they have a nice selection of food for the price. We had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. If this had been our first time at this dinner I would have never come back....not because of the food but because of the character interaction. We went in February and the characters came by twice, posed for pictures and were very interactive. This time....Cinderella was the only one who bothered to stop and pose for a picture. Our PS was for 8, we were seated about 8:15....the restaurant was clearing out....so maybe the characters were ready to go home.

Before our trip I asked DH if he had any special requests for dining....and this was one of them.


Overall....we would definitely eat here again. The price is right and for the most part, you get to see the characters.

Thanks for the review! That's a shame that only Cinderella stopped by your table to pose for a picture. When we were there last May it seemed the characters were a little rushed but overall okay. I agree the food was pretty good. Alas we are going back this year as my 6 year old niece picked this dinner when asked where she would like to eat dinner.

I agree, that wasn't right that all the characters didn't come by. For future, always mention this to your server and if you don't get anywhere ask for a manager, nicely of course.

It may sound extreme but it is supposed to be a character dinner and that's not right. There have been times when dd missed a character for one reason or another at a character meal and I would mention it to our server and they will usually come by pretty soon afterward.

But, for them to leave early, that's just not right. Maybe they have a parade to catch but then they shouldn't have the dinner going that late. We have PS for 4:50 for our upcoming first 1900 Pk Fare dinner with Cinderella and friends so I hope it to be a good experience especially for dd. (I'm more into the food myself ! I took the early time because I've heard lots of mixed reviews with parties who have gotten there after 6:00 (long waits sometimes, etc).

I strongly second the recommendation to get an early seating if possible for 1900 Park Fare.

We ate there in April, and had a wonderful time. We were at the end of the 4:30 seatings....it was perfect.

The characters were wonderful and spent considerable time with each table. The mice came back to our table several times. We took photos each time.

I noticed that lingering after the first wave of people left...we had more time with the characters.

We loved the food too.

We were at this dinner one night last week. Cinderella never came by our table but that was ok with us...we weren't there for the characters. However, I thought the food was horrible! We have eaten here many times over the years and the quality of food has taken a serious nosedive. Boma's food was much better.
