1900 Park Fare or PSB day after T-day?

I could use some help! I cannot decide between keeping our Princess Storybook Breakfast and eating at 1900 Park Fare. This trip is supposed to be about trying new things so that is why I booked PSB. We'll be in Epcot that day and strategically it makes sense. If we do 1900 Park Fare (my all time absolute favorite) then we'll have to take the monorail to the TTC and then the resort monorail which will cost us valuable park time in traveling back and forth and if we did PSB we'd be in place for the opening of World Showcase.

So which would you do? Take a chance on a new breakfast (it seems to get mixed reviews) or travel out of your way for a tried and true favorite. BTW, if it matters, with the recent price increases, PSB is more expensive than 1900 Park Fare.

Thanks for your opinions and have a Disney day!:D

We're going to the PSB the day after Thanksgiving because we plan to start at Epcot that day. I had PSB held another day, but gave that PS up because of the very issue you raise. Can't you go another time to 1900 Park Fare?

To beat the price increase, I ordered my Connections vouchers for dh and me last night at $17.50 per adt which includes tax and tip. The kids' vouchers still aren't a deal, though.

Thanks so much for giving me your opinion! I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, the day after T-day is the only day we can do one or the other, not to mention those character meals are expensive and we've already got Donald's breakfast scheduled for T-day. It's not a tremendously big deal that we eat at 1900 Park Fare this trip and since I'm a DVC member, it's not like I can't go back again.

I think your strategy is the best one and since we plan to be at Epcot that day anyway, we'll just keep the PSB meal as originally planned. Do you have to pay for a connections membership to order those meal vouchers for that price? They sound great. :D

Connections charges $1.00 for a 30 day trial membership. You have 30 days to decide if you want to keep it or not. After looking it over, the only thing it offers that I want are these vouchers. I will be cancelling.

If you have a little girl who loves princesses, I'd definitely stick with what you have. If you don't, and the characters at 1900 Park Fare sound better, then maybe it's better to head to your favorite. We make sure we go to our favorite, Garden Grill. Sorry to offer both sides of the argument. LOL

That's perfectly okay to give me boths sides of the coin. That's one of the reasons its so hard to choose - I can see both sides very clearly! I don't have little princess with me this trip (I'll be the only one and I think I qualify as "queen" :D ). I originally booked the PSB because I knew I would get shut out of CRT (and I did). I love the princesses and since Mary Poppins (my absolutely favorite Disney character) is scheduled to be at both, I think I will stick with PSB.

Thanks for helping me "hash" this out and thanks for letting me know about Connections. I've read about it on the Budget board but wasn't sure what it was.

We traditionally have a meal at the ESPN Club and we'll be doing that plus trying some new things - 'Ohanas for me and hubby and Donald's breakfast at AK which sounds like a blast. I'll be sure to put 1900 Park Fare on our list for nex trip though - for sure!

There are just too many good options, aren't there? We had PS for 1900 Park Fare to take our 4 yr old princess while the boys were playing pirate, but then I scored CRT for that morning. We also had a hard time deciding between Tony's and PF dinner, but my son finally picked Tony's. Enjoy the princesses. Our PS is 8:40 the day after Thanksgiving, when is yours?

I would go with PSB. We are also planning on Epcot the day after Thanksgiving. It looks like there will be a lot of disers there.:D

I'm beginning to think my group should head to Epcot during the afternoon then back to the MK for our PS at LTT on Thanksgiving. Then the day after if it's too congested we can go elsewhere. The CM I spoke to said Holidays Around the World begins Thanksgiving.

1900 PF is my favorite too. We just got back and did the PSB breakfast while there. The food is okay, not great (certainly not as good as 1900 PF) but I'd stick with it if I were you for the convenience, timing, trying something new, etc. Your experience may be better than mine. I would go back if I couldn't get Cindie's but I am glad I did it at least once. It also helped that I just couldn't force myself to eat lunch at Norway but always wanted to see inside the restaurant. Now, I can say I've done that too.
