1900 Park Fare or Princess Storybook Lunch?

Is this like comparing apples to apples or are they two different animals?

I currently have ADR's for lunch at Akershus and on the same night I booked dinner at 1900. Trying to decide between the 2. We've dined at 1900 before - once when it was the Villian dinner (SO awesome!) and once with Cindy and gang. (Not as awesome). We have never done PSL.

I'd love reviews/opinions. Thanks.

We thought the food for lunch awful at Akershus and the place is really crowded, but that is not why you go there. "Usually" there is not a duplicate of characters between this and 1900 Park Fair Cinderella meal, but the time we went, Cinderella was at Akershus!!! I planned both of them, so we did have a few repeats.

Anyway, if you've already done 1900 Park Fair with Cinderella and it doesn't sound like you really cared for it all that much, I would try Akershus. It gets mixed reviews, but you're there to see the princesses. It's apples to apples with different characters, although we feel the atmosphere and food at 1900 Park Fair much better. I would say it depends who you want to see.

We weren't crazy about the food at Akershus for lunch. We probably won't go back there until DD requests it in the future. The character interaction was nice.

On the other hand, we really enjoy 1900PF and would go back there again in a heartbeat -- definitely over Akershush.

It's great to eat with so many of the princesses at one time, but I'd choose breakfast. Not crazy about the food here.

1900 Park Fare is one of my favorite character buffets.
