Which would you choose for dinner? We have 1 day's table service meal yet to plan and can't make up our minds. We want to see Fantasmic that night.

1900 Park Fare is great!! Food is decent and the entertainment is wonderful. Not a fan of H&V at all, the same boring buffet stuff and not all that good.

HM...

I'm Torn...

I've "Done" H&V at least 4 times... for Dinner...last time was H&V F! Package...
I've never done Park Fare...but I WANT TO Based on the Reviews here....

I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Fantasmic Dinner Package... WE usually go during the busiest times...and this cuts down on wasted wait time tremendously...

So I want to say Park Fare has BETTER FOOD...however H&V has the F! Dinner Package... and the experience outweighs the "unknown" in my mind...

So my "VOTE" is to do the H&V Fantasmic Package...and save Park Fare for another day during your visit....

HUGS,
Mary

PS: I have Brown Derby F! Pkg booked for our May visit...new F! dining experience for us ! :cool1::thumbsup2

1900PF for sure, but............you say you want to do Fantasmic that night, so 1900PF really doesn't seem like a good option. But it is waaaaaaaay better.

As the pp noted, a Fantasmic Package would be ideal if you choose H&V.

I personally opt for the Mama Melrose F! package when I'm at DHS. Better food.

1900 PF over H&V, but I would suggest dining in DHS, since you want to make Fantasmic. I would also suggest Mama Melrose over H&V. The Fantasmic dining package may be worth considering during your stay, especially if it is only offer one or two time during your stay. It provides a level of certainity and no worry to stress over when to start to stand in line. While the reserved section is not the best angle you can go right in the stadium and select where you will sit ...

1900 Park Fare :thumbsup2

H&V in my book is one of the 10 worst restaurants at Disney. I know there are some who enjoy this restaurant. I'd eat at a counter serve before I at here again.

The only meal at Hollywood & Vine that I've ever enjoyed was the Playhouse Disney Character lunch. The meal is okay, nothing special. The characters made the meal worth it. We also had a great server there.

If I had to choose, I would go to 1900 Park Fare.

1900 Park Fare :thumbsup2

ITA! Honestly, it was by far the worst place I've probably ever eaten, and I'd stand in line for Fantasmic, before wasting money on H&V. We're going to be trying 1900 park fare for our upcoming trip and the reviews I've read have been good.

1900 Park Fare for sure

H&V was one of the worst meals we had at WDW. Actually it was the worst, sadly!

The Fantasmic package is great, but I would recommend maybe Mama Melrose if you wanted to do Fantasmic.

But out of 1900 & H&V it would be hands down 1900 Park Fare :thumbsup2

ok I am going to thro wrench Into the wheel here,we ate at H&V maybe three years ago for Dinnier from what I remeber It was not to bad!. Yes Its typcial Buffet amercian food but I have to say It was not bad,now that was three thears ago so you can take It for what Its worth!. Now for 1900 PA we did the breakfast and It was so,so nothing we would go back again for. But after reading the reviews here I am more Incline to go and tr4y 1900 for Dinnier,thanks:thumbsup2

We have done dinner at the 1900 Park Fare twice and loved it both times :thumbsup2 Not only was the food great (one CM even went out to the kitchen twice to find me a piece of roast beef medium rare the way I like it) but the show with the stepmother and stepsisters is totally hysterical and so much fun :rotfl2:

When are you going? The Fantasmic package is OK if you *need* that ressie to get into the show. We did the H&V/Fantasmic one year and MM alone the next. We were able to walk up to the front row the MM year only 20 min ahead of showtime. We had to cool our heels for an hour using the Fantasmic package and the seating angle was not as good.

Good to hear so many thumbs up for 1900 Park Fare since I just booked it for our next trip and we have never been!!

1900 Parke Fare is my vote if I had to pick from those 2. the ONLY good part of HV is the fantasmic package. HV gets our vote for worst sit down:scared1:

Never been to 1900 but I can't imagine it being worse than HV. HV is the worst, their food is pretty awful. I've heard mostly positive reviews about 1900 Park Fare, and it looks loads of fun!

Can you please type down what sort of foods you get - more plain foods than things like curry or herby/garlicky things - please :goodvibes

I love 1900 Park Fare. We go there every year and have never had a bad meal. The characters are great especially Lady Tremayne and the evil stepsisters. The buffet includes turkey, prime rib and one year we had shrimp too.

I read the suggestions about the H&V Fantasmic package, but isn't that more than one TS credit? I think it all depends on what time of year you go. If it is before day light savings, you could do Fantasmic and then go to Park Fare for dinner.
