I know its personal choice but which one of the two would you prefer for character breakfast - I have already booked Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace and Tusker - cant decide between the two in the title.

Your thoughts?

Thanks

You mean Cape May Cafe at Beach Club resort?

Never dined at either but have looked around both restaurants and either is a sound choice, both are buffet style. If you have any particular characters in mind I would go for that one.

I've done both, 1900 was much better: the buffet wasn't as crowded and we didn't feel as crammed in with all the tables. The food is virtually identical at both.

We are going to 1900 Park Fare this September. I havent been to the breakfast at Cape May, only dinner, but felt that the buffet area is too small for the size of the restaurant and gets too crowded for you to choose what you want to eat slowly, I felt quite rushed. But that is my opinion on why we havent chosen CM.

Snap!:) Well except for CM, I need to work out when in our planner I can fit CM in :)

I have also booked a breakfast at Cape May as DD is a big goofy fan, but last night I was wondering whether we could also squeeze in 1900 Park Fare too! I think we might play things by ear and see if we can get something short notice when we are there if we still want to do 1900. If not, well there's always the next trip :goodvibes

We liked Cape May and are going again this year. We even thought it was better than Chef Mickey's. So we are going to have dinner at Chef Mickey's this time instead.

I have only done dinner at 1900 and I didn't like it. The Characters were great, but the food was awful.

I have also bad dinner experiences at Cystal Palace, so I am starting to think that the Character places do better breakfasts than dinner.

We went to Cape May for breakfast and it was alright but just not that giid. I had read good reports, so maybe we hit it on an off day!

We've done both, and I would do either one again, and probably will when we go on our next holidays! Cape May is a good breakfast for the generic characters, and certainly a whole lot less rushed than somewhere like Chef Mickeys. I think though, 1900 Park Fare wins out though.

It can be very good fun with Alice, Mary Poppins, and of course the Mad Hatter. On two out of the three times we've dined there, they've turned out to be one of the best meals of the whole trip.

The first time, my sister had gone to the buffet to get her breakfast, and the Mad Hatter came over, and I was looking around for her. He was like, "is there supposed to be someone else at this table?", asked for her name, then stood up and screeched her name at the top of his voice! And last time we went, Mary Poppins and Alice were continually playing tricks on each other and putting various condiment sachets on each other!

So, Cape May is more peaceful and subdue; 1900 Park Fare is funny and loud!

I've done both. Neither are my favourites. Food is good at both. Table layout/crampness not the best. Character interaction variable.

ahh I want to book 1900 park fayre for breakfast now:headache:
