1900 Park Fare or CRT?! HELP!!!!

For character interaction, I personally prefer 1900 park fare. The stepsisters are really funny and can really make the night. For atmosphere nothing beats eating in the castle.
If you are able to I would do both, If you are concerned because you only want to do 1 princess meal and you do not want to repeat the same characters than that is not a factor because both restaurants have different character except for Cinderella. While the castle has all the princesses, 1900 has Cinderella, Prince Charming, the stepmother and stepsisters. You will not have much repeating of characters.

I'm really, really tempted to do them both. My mom (who is footing the bill for this amazing vacation!!) has given me 100% control in the planning department and she just wants the kids to get the most out of it, so I know she wouldn't mind doing both meals. Hmm...

Oh, also, I haven't really started researching meet and greets (yet), and I was wondering if we'll be able to meet the other Princesses if we don't do Akershus or is that the only place they appear for pics and autograph signing?

You can meet most of the other princesses in the parks. They appear in a room at MK, or you can catch several of them in the "wild" at Epcot.

To answer the question, I think 1900 Park Fare is a better that CRT.

CRT has the photo package bundled into the cost of the meal, which raises the meal price to $50+ per adult. At 1900, it is an additional cost, but you can opt out.

1900 PF is a buffet with a great variety and several choices for kids. You don't have to gorge yourself at a buffet, but being able to go up for seconds is nice.

1900 PF is all about Cinderella- she appears with the stepmother and the two stepsisters and Prince Charming. The characters spend a lot of time interacting with the tables. We were there in April, and we were there last night, and I would say that they are less "in character" than they were last time. Surprisingly, this is an improvement. The stepmother was still just as haughty, but she went around inquiring about people's days and what their favorite ride had been. But for a Cinderella nut, this is such a delight.

I think I am about to make your decision even harder. We enjoyed the the food at 1900 Park Fare. The stepsisters and Lady Tremaine are one of the best shows on property. They made us laugh so hard there were tears in our eyes. Even my boys who are in their late teens enjoy it there. The stepsisters tend to fight over them. It is a buffet so ther is also the added benefit of the fact that there is usually something for everyone. If you decide to go here make sure you try the strawberry soup.

CRT is nice especialy for the experience of eating in the castle. The general rule that most go by is you need to try it at least once. The food is so so and it is expensive so once is usually enough. I would choose the breakfast though. If you can't get the ADR for it and it is hard keep trying. There are always cancelations. Hope this helps at least a little.
