1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickey's?

I was finally able to snag an ADR for both CM's and 1900. Now I have to decide which to keep. We are a party of 6, myself, DH and 4 DD's. As far as atmosphere goes, which is better? Also, any advice to which has better food would be helpful as well. Please help me decide. Thanks.

1900 Park Fare has really good food, but not as good characters. Crystal Palace also has really good food for a buffet(breakfast & dinner) as well as Cape May Cafe (breakfast, anyways)

Me and DF Chef Mickey's! It's your core characters. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Pluto. It's a lot of fun and we always get great picture. The buffet is pretty good too, with lots of variety.

I haven't ate at 1900 Park Fare, so I can't comment. I've worked Crystal Palace and they have a great, yummy looking & smelling buffet, but you're looking at Pooh characters for that meal.

Chef Mickeys!

For breakfast, it's a tie between Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace as the best character breakfast in WDW. I love the selection at both meals.

I was slightly disappointed with the meal at 1900 Park Fare, It was basic. There's just more stuff at the other restaurants. Plus I love that they have their special items. Crystal Palace has breakfast lasagna and Chef Mickey's has breakfast pizza - both yummy!

I was also surprised that there were so few characters at 1900 Park Fare. Mary Poppins and Bert are outside, while inside was Alice, Pooh and Tigger. I love how at Chef Mickey's you get the whole gang and at Crystal Palace you get Pooh with all his friends.

I would only go to 1900 Park Fare if you have a little girl dying to meet Alice.

For atmosphere, Chef Mickey's is loud noisy and a party every 30 minutes with napkins waving in the air. Lots of fun. I found Crystal Palace fun, I thought Pooh's parade with the kids was a nice touch. Overall, it's much quieter than Chef Mickey's. It's also the most beautiful restaurant out of them all.

For dinner, I've only eaten at Crystal Palace and it's by far my favorite dinner buffet. Haven't done Chef Mickey's yet.

1900 has much better food. I also like it for a change...in characters. Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland "host" breakfast. The Mad Hatter is also there. Along with "friends". I guess the other characters may change.

I did not see if you were looking for breakfast or dinner. 1900 PF has Cinderella and Prince Charming, the stepsisters, and Lady Tremaine for dinner and they are a lot of fun! We thought that the food was okay but the character interaction was very good. Your girls may enjoy them.

I did forget to mention, we are looking at dinner. To be precise, it will be the last hooray for us as we leave the following afternoon, (Christmas Eve). It is our first ever X-mas trip. In Feb, we dined at LTT. While the character interaction was great, the food was so, so. Our then almost 2 year old did not like the characters at all! She is now almost 3, but I am beginning to think that maybe the 1900 is a better choice for her sake, as well as the sake of other diners. If you think the interaction was good, then I think we will stick with the 1900. What girl doesn't love Cinderella??

I did not like LTT either. The chef did make food special for my DGD so that she could have dinner and she enjoyed it, but I was not impressed. I will tell you that while Cinderella is at 1900 PF the sisters will steal the show. My DGD asked Anastasia to teach her to curtsy and all I will say is that I am still laughing! The girls will love it!
