Has anyone been here since the rehab?? Does it look any different than before? How is the food and the variety?? Also how are the new characters working out?? I've heard the stepsisters are very entertaining but do any of the younger kids find them "Scary"? Thanks for any reviews.

The Stepsisters were fun and not scary at all. Sadly, other than the characters, we did not enjoy our dinner experience at all. We thought the food was disappointing and we hated the atmosphere. It was incredibly noisy and chaotic, and felt very much like a cafeteria. We saw the Stepsisters several other times at the MK, so we wished we had cancelled (as I almost did after reading some other bad reviews.) But that was just our experience... I'm sure there are others who enjoyed it.

Is Fairy Godmother in the lobby. That was dd favorite part other that prince charming.

What about the mice characters?

And is the food different than before? I had always heard that this was one of the best buffets to go to.

I can certainly understand the comparison to a cafeteria. It LOOKS like one!

:rotfl: The step sisters MADE the dinner!!!! My DD (#) was not scared of them 1 bit! First we met LT, I called her the evil step mother and she quickly corrected me (humeriously) and told me her name was Lady Trumaine (sp?). She also made a comment that her 2 beautiful daughters were there and oh yes, that other one, Cinderella. By the way, I think she bleaches her hair... :lmao:
Anistasia and Druzilla (sp?) were a trip!!! :rotfl: They flirted with all the men, young and old, and if you ask Anistasia to sing "sweet nightengale" she will, loudly. While she was "singing" Prince Charming nicely excused himself from the table next to ours and gently asked her to keep it down, returning he told all of us that "sometimes we have to remind the to use their indoor voices" :lmao: They also had this great thing that they yelled at each other from across the resturant and their mother had to calm them down... yelling "Ladies....." Cinderella and Prince Charming were very sweet and soft spoken. They told us how much they loved their family when we mentioned that we had met them, sweet, but like I said before the step sister made the evening!!!!!

I agree! We had so much fun with them!. If you ask Anastasia to teach you how to curtsy she will and it is hilarious! My DGD laughed throughout the meal, especially when the "girls" were bickering back and forth across the room. The also tried to get her to relinquish one of her dwarfs (she was dressed as Snow White) because she had seven and a Prince, they had none.

The food was okay, I like some of what I chose but that is how I am at most buffets, I don't like all of the offerings.

No, the Fairy Godmother is no longer at this dinner.

Suzy and Perla, the mice, are no longer at this dinner either. And the entire menu has changed. By the looks of the recent reviews, it seems the buffet is quite disappointing.

We went to dinner at Park Fare a couple of weeks ago on our trip. The food wasn't bad, it was just different. There was a salad bar with Caesar salad. They still had the strawberry soup. The French section of the buffet had chicken marsala and it was really good. Not too heavy with the marsala and the gravy was light. There was a cold seafood/pasta salad with steamed calamari, shrimp, mussels, and I think scallops with olives, peppers and kind of a vinagrette dressing. I loved that too. The kids section had pasta with red sauce and meatballs if you wanted, I think. Also corn, macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders. The American section had prime rib and it was just soso according to my husband who said that the prime rib at Boma had it beat by a long shot. They had mashed potatoes with the skins in them. They had wonderful bread and a cheese selection which I thought was good. The desserts were about the same, key lime tart, mango cream tarts, cheesecake tarts and an ice cream machine with sprinkles, whipped cream, etc., stuff like that. The Japanese section looked like take out, albeit, GOOD take-out but I wasn't in the mood for Asian food. Also there were some vegetarian selections that looked good also. That's my take on it. It was good, but definitely different from the other buffet which had more stuff on it that I liked.

Granted, it was our first time at 1900 PF, but we loved it! The step Mom and Step sisters were great! They really were a blast to watch and meet! They were asking DD to come be their maid since they recently lost theirs!(DD was dressed as Cinderella) I loved to see Cinderella and the Prince dance during dinner and the step sister whine and moan.

I personally felt that the dinner here was pretty good for a buffet. We had dinner and Chef Mickey's before this meal as well as Crystal Palace and I felt this dinner was the best. DD liked diiner here to the best. As a matter of fact, we gave her a choice of character meals for our next trip, and she picked 1900 Park Faire.

So, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella are face characters? That is AWESOME! I cannot wait for this dinner!!! My DH and I have dined at 1900 many times. Our favorite was in 2000 on our honeymoon when it was a Villians themed dinner. But, with the addition of the Tremaine Gals, it sounds like we're in for a treat. My DD will LOVE it. My DS will sadly miss Suzie and Pearla. I could take or leave the FG....

So, does anyone have pictures? Would LOVE to see some!!

Thanks!

While working there last week, I saw some pretty funny things done by the step-sisters. Anastacia is so funny. A man proposed to her (jokingly of course) and she "fainted". Absolutely hilarious! And then someone asked her to sing, so she sang like Ariel when Ursula takes her voice. Those sisters are so loud, and they scream at anything.

With the descriptions of the stepsisters provided, I'm sooo looking forward to our dinner at 1900 in January!
Wouldn't it be a blast to be a stepsister?!

We got back yesterday after a 14 day trip and this was by far our worst dinner! I can eat pretty much anything, but I was really struggling here. I had some undercooked chicken and that really piut me off! DH thought that the food was just OK. We felt that we were rushed through there and were never able to relax and enjoy our meal. This is one meal that we will not be returning to!

It does sound like a blast!! We are going there for New Year's Eve dinner with our three daughters - 10, 12, 15 - and their friends - 12 and 15. Since it is New Year's Eve, we thought it would be fun for the girls to dress up and wear tiara's as if they are Princesses.

Would they fit in with this atmosphere? Or should we tone done the princess look.

Thanks!!

We went a few days ago and didn't like it at all. The food was awful in my opinion. Crystal palace is much better. Definitely not worth the money, although I know you're mostly paying for the characters.

Cinderella, Prince Charming and the stepmother came and left in a hurry. I was lucky to get 1 picture of them with my kids. It was ok because DD was kind of scared of them. She ended up not eating much because the stepmother was walking around scowling at everyone and it made her nervous I guess. The only one she wasn't scared of was the stepsister with the red hair. She was very funny and my DD looked up at her with awe. The other stepsister was a dud. The person who played the stepmother looked mighty young too. You would think they would have someone a little older who would fit the part a little better.

We were going to cancel this ADR, but ended up going anyway and I'm kind of sorry we did. We won't be going again. Especially after we used a gift card that had $125 on it and the server came back and said there was only $13 on it and my DH had to pay the rest in cash. We eventually found out that they were having "computer trouble" and the server swiped it twice. That really was a bad ending to this experience. They were able to reload the card, but we had to waste a lot of time going from the people at the restaurant to the GF concierge people who eventually called up and found out what happened. I was so upset thinking that all that money on the card was gone. Be careful if you use a Disney gift card to pay here.
