Is there seating that is more desirable than others? I've heard that the refurbished dinner has a dance floor that the prince and princess dance on. Should we ask to sit near the dance floor? Any experiences you can share would be appreciated.

(I haven't been since the refurb)

But I can tell you that at every character meal we've enjoyed, they have a pattern in which they seat people so the characters stay in pattern as well, ensuring all guests get a chance to visit with them. They don't take table requests because of that. They have it down to an art, and it's actually pretty cool. We always get the last seating that we can so by the time we finish, our section is the only one still in the restaurant and they are cleaning and setting up another area for the next meal time.

Just don't want you to get your heart set on a particular area and be told no since they seat people in a specific pattern.

other restaurants that don't have characters don't seat that way.

We are planning to go as well and I've never heard such a thing.

I'd be interested to see the replies.

I have a reservation there this Sunday. It will be interesting to see. The last two times we ate there, the characters moved around the room well, I have not been since the dance floor has been added.

We were just there on Wednesday... I wouldn't call it a "dance floor."

It was more like a small space between the tables where Cindy and her prince swayed a bit! ;)

They did interact a bit more w/ the kids in that section during the "dancing" but we got lots of interaction as well w/o being seated there.
