I have to agree with the slipper idea. We have done my daughter's bday at Disney many times and, as a result, have ordered several cakes (from disney restaurants and hotels). The cake just never gets eaten, and they are so expensive it is a crime to throw them away. At a restaurant (especially a buffet like 1900 PF) there is so much other yummy stuff to choose from. I understand wanting to make the girls feel special, though. The slipper is the perfect compromise, IMHO. When our daughter said she wanted to go to 1900 this year for her bday dinner, I knew that was exactly what I would do. It is the perfect size that by the time everyone has a taste (if she chooses to share) we will still have room to sample the other goodies at the buffet, she will have something special with a candle to blow out, and I won't have to feel bad about spending so much on a cake that wasn't eaten.
